You know that DAP is where it's at for all things in the early years, especially when it comes to literacy & numeracy. No worksheets in your setting. But the intricate steps a child makes from infancy to preschool to be "kindergarten ready" is quite extensive and parents especially don't value or really understand that a lifelong love for literacy and numeracy develops from hands on play.
By the end of this workshop you’ll know how to scaffold on the children’s literacy and numeracy skills with playful hands on ways that spark a lifelong love starting right at infancy to preschool. You’ll be able to communicate with parents why and how their children will develop these skills with their whole bodies, naturally with best practices and no need for worksheets or instructional activities.
You've got precious time and energy and my role is to not waste it with boring, theory heavy workshops that leave you confused.

This workshop was an incredible workshop. It doesn’t take expensive materials or formal curriculums for the children to learn these things. So often, as an educator, I second guess myself wondering am I doing enough? This workshop reminded me that as long as I am being intentional about the materials I am using the children will use these materials in the way that suits them and their learning best.
